Improve supply chain distribution efficiency

Background

The client is a supermarket in Southeast Asia. In order to ensure the rapid flow of goods in the supply chain, they plan to introduce RFID technology to manage turnover boxes and pallets.

Solution

We built a data collection system based on the V8 built-in UHF handheld terminal for the customer, using RFID technology to manage turnover boxes and pallets to achieve intelligent management of supply chain goods. Before loading, suppliers need to apply for pallets from customers and bind item information with turnover boxes and pallets to achieve continuous tracking of the supply chain. When the customer warehouse receives the goods, the V8 handheld terminal is used to read the RFID tag on the pallet to quickly obtain information such as the quantity and category of the goods. After entering the warehouse, the corresponding goods are placed in the corresponding storage location. In the shipping stage, the customer uses the V8 handheld terminal for sorting, packaging, inspection, and delivery, and finally sends the goods to each store in batches. The store uses the V8 handheld terminal to quickly receive the goods, while recording the store's receipt time and tracking the real-time transportation of goods and pallets/turnover boxes.

Effect

1. The efficiency and accuracy of data collection have been significantly improved.

2. The use of RFID technology reduces the tedious process of printing QR code labels, increasing worker efficiency by more than 30%.

3. Asset and equipment management through RFID reduces the loss of assets such as pallets and turnover boxes, and increases utilization by more than 10%.

4. The application of the data collection system makes information management more accurate and real-time, improving supply chain efficiency and reducing logistics costs for customers.
